This issue is similar to my letter of about a year ago. there are several good reasons for the repetition. First, much of the lean literature does not address job shops very well. Second, workflow is so fundamental and important but often taken for granted. The annual Job Shop Lean Conference is coming up and many of you would find it a worthwhile experience.
